Felix Vicq-d'Azyr, 1748-1794, was a medical educator, anatomist, and epidemiologist. A member of the Academie Francaise, the Academie des Sciences, and secretary of the Societe Royale de Medecine, Vicq-d'Azyr was particularly interested in comparative anatomy and veterinary medicine.
